Weekly VHF Nets
The West Rockingham ARES VHF net meets every Sunday evening at 20:00 on the
146.850 repeater, courtesy of the Interstate Repeater Society.
This is a formal net that is open to all Amateurs interested in emergency
communications. The ARES West Rockingham emergency coordinator, assistant
coordinators, and specialists provide brief reports on current issues of
interest to the group. Members also provide training to assist the membership in
staying fresh.
An informal "chat time" provides an opportunity to discuss specific topics. For
example, participants may discuss details of upcoming events, continue a
"lessons learned" discussion or talk about the weather.
